ART DE LEX will cooperate with the Moscow State University Faculty of Economics to hold a roundtable discussion

On 22 May 2019, a roundtable discussion will take place on “The formation (and approval) of investment programs in regulated sectors of the economy and their implications for rates.” The organizers are the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the ART DE LEX Law Firm.

The task of the roundtable discussion is to assess the conditions for the development of regulated sectors of the Russian Federation and the prospects of their investment attractiveness, especially in light of the activities of the FAS of Russia, which monitors the use of investment resources that are subject to state-regulated rates.

The following individuals will take part in the roundtable discussion:

∙ Andrei Shastitko has a doctorate in economics and is a professor and the head of the Department of Competition and Industrial Policy at the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, which is named after M. V. Lomonosov.

∙ Kirill Dozmarov is an attorney-at-law and the head of the Antitrust and Tariff Practice Group at the ART DE LEX law firm.

∙ Tatyana Basova is a senior economist in the Antitrust and Tariff Practice Group at ART DE LEX.

∙ Alexander Kurdin is a candidate of sciences and the deputy dean of the Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Faculty of Economics, where he is responsible for scientific research.

Representatives of regulated organizations operating in the electric power industry, experts in the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service, and other professionals are invited to attend the roundtable discussion.
