ART DE LEX leading in eight practice areas of PRAVO.ru-300, the main national legal ranking
Analytical portal PRAVO.ru has conducted the eighth Russian law firms ranking - PRAVO.ru-300. The results were presented at a ceremony in Ritz Carlton on December 7. ART DE LEX has shown outstanding results in different competencies and was awarded three winning places in three different practice areas.
In the PRAVO.ru-300 2017 ranking, among ART DE LEX projects were:

Group II in four practice areas
• Arbitration proceedings
• Commercial real estate / Construction
• Corporate / Mergers and Acquisitions
• Bankruptcy
Group III in practice area
• Financial law
SInce 2016 ART DE LEX has advanced their level in almost all nominations.
ART DE LEX lawyers showed great results in the highly competitive environment. Also, new participants took part in the 2017 ranking nomination, and the total number of contestants increased by 20% comparative to last year. The organizers say that the high ranking of the Russian legal services’ participants is so advanced that the competition can even be renamed into PRAVO.ru-400. Such increase in quality is also caused by participating international corporations: if in 2016 only ten foreign companies were ranked, then in 2017 their number doubled; and now it amounts to 15% of the total number of firms ranked.
The number of submitted for evaluation projects has increased by 30%. PRAVO.ru researchers interviewed about 8 thousand enterprises - clients of law firms. Last year, PRAVO.ru-300 survey was conducted on 17 branches of law, in 2017 - in 19 branches. The rating has become more specialized, and therefore more focused and accurate.
ART DE LEX has increased the quality of legal practices, by following the results of client’s assessments and by several dozen of the leading corporate lawyers in Russia, members of the Expert Rating Council, which in 2017 gathered representatives of about 50 well-known corporations.
PRAVO.ru ranking is a large-scale study of the Russian legal market that accurately reflects development trends. “Organizers provide independent and transparent methodology of project evaluation, based on the high qualifications of the arbitrators”, says Dmitri Magonya, Managing Partner of ART DE LEX. "We are grateful to the organizers, and most importantly - to our dear customers, who highly appreciated our work."
Dmitry Magonya also notes that for ART DE LEX ranking is similar to the exam, “Not only the evaluation is important, but also the preparation process, comprehension of activities and yearly planning, especially with analysis of what is done on the market.”
The Managing Partner of ART DE LEX says that the company has become more competent and gained more experience in the field of natural resources and energy, including employment in large-scale oil and gas construction projects. Another progressive direction is banking and finance: the company's projects supporting banking readjustment are actively developing. The third direction is the support of foreign economic activity, and not the least is the topic of international sanctions and countermeasures taken by the Russian Federation. Antitrust practice remains the core competency of ART DE LEX. With this practice the firm occupies a leading position: in the Russian metallurgy, port infrastructure, transport, energy, IT and financial services.
For eight years PRAVO.RU-300 ranking has been a reference point for courts and customers, who are trying to objectively assess the level of professionalism of consultants. In the sectoral part of the rating, the companies are ranked by groups depending on the following factors: the level of project work, the importance of projects for business and law enforcement practice. Besides the feedback, rating experts take into account public responses - including the number of publications about the project.
According to the rules of PRAVO.ru-300, participating companies can send no more than 10 significant projects as a competent project for each branch of law. In addition, it is not allowed to submit projects that are declared in the previous rankings. As a result, PRAVO.RU-300 companies receive higher places, which presented analysts and the Expert Council with a greater number of various new significant business projects.
