The article is devoted to the requirements of the Russian competition law to the mergers & acquisitions transactions. The authors have revealed the legislative requirements to the M&A transactions, the existence of which peremptory results in the necessity to get a preliminary consent of FAS to a transaction or permits to limit with a consequent notification, the provisions on accountability for non-compliance with competition law.
