Dmitry Magonya, the managing partner and head of the International Economic Compliance Practice at ART DE LEX, along with Dmitry Gavrilenko, an attorney and senior associate of the International Economic Compliance Practice at ART DE LEX, prepared a report for the business community about the impact of sanctions on businesses and the enforcement of sanctions in 2018 as well as a forecast for the development of sanctions regulations in 2019.

As Pravo.ru notes, information about the impact of sanctions on business is becoming increasingly important, including the need for an objective assessment of possible risks sanctions present to businesses, which is essential to form sound business strategies. The extraterritoriality and global character of sanctions prompts concerns about their risks to businesses.

Noting the high level of expertise that ART DE LEX has in the field of sanctions regulation, Pravo.ru published an article summarizing the main findings of ART DE LEX’s study of international economic compliance.
