Dmitry Magonya will moderate the first Russian Pro Bono Forum

The first Russian Pro Bono Forum will take place on 13 April 2016. Representatives of leading law firms will share their experience about the creation and implementation of pro bono projects of various kinds. Given the variety of conditions and types of legal practices, the session will discuss the principles that guide firms and organizations in the areas of law and types of assistance they offer as well as in the selection of pro bono clients.

Dmitry Magonya, the managing partner of the ART DE LEX law firm and the coordinator of pro bono activities for the firm, will moderate the session.

Speakers of the forum will include:
Alexey Borodin, the vice president of the Chamber of Advocates of the Samara Region; Alexey Dobrynin, a partner of the Pen & Paper law firm in St. Petersburg; Nikolai Zharov, the president of the Chamber of Advocates of the Kostroma Region; and Yury Mahoning, a lawyer with the international firm Dechert.

Representatives of nonprofit organizations, law schools, legal practitioners, government authorities, Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation, and law chambers of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will attend the event.
