Dmitry Magonya will speak at the International Conference on Judicial Independence in Ghent (Belgium)
The International Conference on Judicial Independence: Impartiality and Fairness of the Judicial Process will take place in Belgium (Ghent) from 18 to 20 October 2012.
This outstanding legal international event, organized by Cambridge and the University of Jerusalem and the University of Ghent, will gather professors from leading universities, heads of courts and lawyers from different countries. The conference will cover issues fundamental for civil justice and judiciary countries whose representatives are among the conference participants.
The following Russian speakers will report at the conference on October 19: Prof. Sergey Nikitin, Head of the Civil, Arbitration, and Administrative Proceedings Department at the Russian Academy of Justice, and Dmitry Magonya, Managing Partner of ART DE LEX Law Firm, they will respectively report on the "Appointment of Judges and Juridical Responsibility of Judges in the Russian Federation" and "Impartiality and Fairness of the Judicial Process in Russia".
