Yaroslav Kulik will deliver a report at the “Corporate procurement: law and practice” seminar

On 15 December 2015, the Non-commercial partnership “Competition Support,” as part of its Academy project, will hold a seminar titled “Corporate procurement: law and practice.”

Tatiana Demidova, the head of the FAS Russia’s Department for control over public procurement, will be one of the key speakers.

The seminar will highlight the following issues:

  • recent legislative initiatives in the field of corporate procurement;
  • approaches for implementing the new requirements for procurements from small and medium-sized businesses;
  • the current legal position of complaints regarding violations of procurement procedures,
  • typical mistakes in procurement;
  • special aspects of the use of antitrust requirements for corporate procurement;
  • other issues regarding the practical application of 223-FL and the Law on the protection of competition.

Leading experts of the Non-commercial partnership “Competition support” will be speakers at the seminar.

Yaroslav Kulik, a partner and the head of the Competition practice of the ART DE LEX law firm and a member of the General Council of the Non-commercial partnership “Competition support,” will discuss approaches and contentious issues regarding purchases from small and medium-sized businesses, and he will highlight a number of current legal positions about reviewing complaints under Article 18.1 of 223-FL.
