Where should one live in bankruptcy? The Supreme Court recently considered a dispute about a debtor’s only home, which again raised the question of how to determine whether a debtor’s apartment can be sold at auction. The court suggests a “wider” approach: it is necessary to analyze the housing not only of a debtor but also his family members.
