Yaroslav Kulik, a partner and the head of the South Korea Desk of the ART DE LEX law firm, will participate in the Seventh Russian-Korean Business Dialogue in Khabarovsk on 28-29 October 2014

The plenary session of the Russian-Korean Business Dialogue will be devoted to Russian Far East development as a strategy of integrating Russia into the Asian Pacific region. The dialogue will include such matters as:

  • The possibility of the Republic of Korea as an export market for production in Russia’s Far East;     
  • The Russian export potential;     
  • Russian-South Korean joint ventures for implementing Russian Far East investment projects;   
  • The interest South Korean companies may have in the economic sectors targeted for development in the Russian Far East;

Russian-Korean Business Dialogue will include thematic sessions focusing on the implementation of Russian-Korean projects in various economic sectors and new opportunities for fruitful cooperation. 

At one of the sessions, Yaroslav Kulik, of ART DE LEX, will report on the types of legal assistance South-Korean companies have while doing business in Russia as well as new opportunities for investment in logistics.

The Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea created the Russian-Korean Business Dialogue as a platform for solving issues in such fields as energy, natural resources, transport, commerce, trade, and logistics.

As in the past, the organizers of the Seventh Russian-Korean Business Dialogue are the Russian-South-Korean Business Council and the administration of Khabarovsk Region, with the support of the Ministry for Development of the Russian Far East as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The gathering will have a plenary meeting and four thematic sessions that are based on economic themes.

The Seventh Russian-Korean Business Dialogue welcomes a number of honorable guests: the general consul of the Republic of Korea, Li Yang Gu; the head of the Korean International Trade Association, Han Duk-su; the deputy minister of development of the Russian Far East, Maxim Shereikin; the governor of the Khabarovsk Krai, Vyacheslav Shport; and the co-chairmen of the Russian-South Korean Business Council, Ara Abramyan and En Duk Son.

Among the South Korean participants are the heads of leading South Korean companies, including Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Asiana Airlines, Korean Airlines, Samsung C&T Corporation, Hyundai Heavy Industries, and KIA Motors.

The Russian and Korean participants of the Russian-Korean Business Dialogue will benefit from discussions with the representatives of state authorities and leaders of both countries.
