10th Online Arbitration Competition of the Arbitration Association

On August 30 and 31, 2025, the Arbitration Association held oral hearings for its 10th Online Arbitration Competition. Participants were tasked with resolving a complex case concerning the quality of goods delivered. They also faced difficult procedural issues relating to the recusal of an arbitrator and the suspension of arbitration proceedings.

The arbitrators for the competition were partners and lawyers from leading law firms. In particular, one of the arbitrators for the oral hearings was Artur Zurabyan, a partner at ART DE LEX and head of the dispute resolution and international arbitration practice.

Following the hearings, first place in the “Best Claim” category went to team № 42 from Lomonosov Moscow State University, coached by ART DE LEX attorney Dmitry Bogdan.
