Talks have fallen into oblivion: the court supported Tsargrad viewers against Google

Google has lost the appeal on two lawsuits from viewers of the Tsargrad TV channel who claimed that access to it should be restored on YouTube. If Google does not unblock the YouTube account of Tsargrad, it may face a criminal case and a ban on working in Russia. Tsargrad sent the company a letter demanding to promptly execute the court decision.

This is the first decision in the litigation between Google and Tsargrad that entered into force: now the company has seven days to unblock the Tsargrad account and resume the user access to the channel, told Forbes Managing Partner of ART DE LEX Dmitry Magonya, who represents the interests of Tsargrad. According to him, Google still has an option to file a cassation appeal, however, this will not impact the time limit for fulfilling the court requirements.
