Arthur Zurabyan | A commentary for Delovoy Peterburg: The battle between St. Petersburg and Moscow for the brown metro line is coming to a close

Lenmetrogiprotrans (LMGT) Institute form St. Petersburg and Moscow-based Metrogiprotrans (MGT) continue to fight for the development of the project documentation of the Krasnoselskaya - Kalininskaya metro line section from Kazakovskaya to Sosnovaya Polyana. Each has one victory and one defeat to its credit - the last court decisions were issued in early March. Artur Zurabyan, the head of the Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration Practices of the law firm ART DE LEX, believes it logical for a cassation appeal by Lenmetrogiprotrans to be filed now. But if LMGT loses here as well, it will no longer be able to claim for the performance of this contract. When the decision enters into legal force, the previously taken interim measures - the suspension of performance of the contract with MGT - will also cease to have effect.
