Alexandra Kozina comments for "The Lawyers Newspaper": The Constitutional Court: in commercial disputes, participation of other representatives of a legal entity is allowed, beside the attorney or the lawyer

As the Court clarified, the norms of the Code of Commercial Procedure do not restrict the right of persons participating in a case to have several representatives, one of whom must have higher legal education or a degree in this area.


An LN expert notes that the approach stated by the Court will make it possible to reduce the risk of unjustified refusal in engaging as representatives in commercial cases persons directly involved in the management of organisations’ affairs.
