The Lawyer’s Newspaper quoted Pavel Medyankin in an article about the rights of shareholders who were victims of unfair developers

The Lawyer’s Newspaper quoted Pavel Medyankin, a lawyer with the Real Estate and Construction Practice of ART DE LEX, in an article about amendments to the legislation on shared construction. Mr. Medyankin stated that “the revision of Law No. 214-FZ is noteworthy: it extends the legislation on shared construction to any premises in any building, not only to residential premises in apartment buildings and low-rise residential buildings, as the law provided for earlier. The amendments give additional protections to the purchasers of nonresidential premises (not only apartments). Besides, Article 2.1 of Law No. 214-FZ now includes a ban on attracting construction funds through indirect schemes (for example, securities or trust management agreements in mutual investment funds).”
