New sanctions against Russia

President Biden, as expected, imposed new sanctions against Russia. Despite the abundance of announced measures, experts do not call these sanctions very tough. Nevertheless, the restrictions against the ruble-denominated national debt do look alarming.

Dmitry Magonya, Managing partner of ART DE LEX Law firm, expects that the consequences will be quite noticeable for some companies that have been sanctioned in the field of cybersecurity: Neobit in St. Petersburg will find it difficult to interact with American partners (Dell, Intel, IBM, HP), and Positive Technologies will need to review its relations with global clients from around the world.
