Restriction of competition in the absence of competition?

ART DE LEX Antitrust Regulation practice forms new approaches to non-competitive market control.

The ART DE LEX team has successfully defended the interests of Russia’s largest manufacturer of electric trains, JSC Demikhovo Machine Building Plant (part of Transmashholding Group, a world leader in transport engineering). Following six months of proceedings in the Novosibirsk Department of Russia’s Antimonopoly Service, the case of vertical collusion in tenders was dismissed. The imposition of a fine of some 300 million rubles was prevented, and the client’s reputation as a bona fide and efficient market player was strengthened.
