Google warns of the risks for Russia if Google loses in court to Tsargrad

Google will stop removing content banned in Russia from search results if the court satisfies Tsargrad's lawsuit against the U.S. company, which threatens it with a huge fine or a violation of the sanctions regime. Earlier, Google offered Tsargrad an amicable settlement, but negotiations between the two companies “ended without actually starting,” Tsargrad said.

In fact, Google offers the Russian court a deal: the company will continue blocking the Tsargrad channels, but at the same time it will continue complying with 149-FZ Federal Law, says ART DE LEX Managing Partner Dmitry Magonya, who represents Tsargrad’s interests.
